The LINK community is starting to come together! The south road base material and the curbs are now being installed! The concrete sidewalk around the building will be poured this month and the grading around the site and road from Dundas Street will be connected to the building, providing access to the ground floor parking area.
The courtyard concrete slab has been poured and is now being prepared for planter boxes, waterproofing and landscaping.
The suites in the Natura Building (D) continue to move along. Drywall, mudding and taping are complete on floors one through five and progressing onto floor six. Suites are primed and painted to the fifth floor. Bathtub installation in all suites is complete and tiling continues with up to the fourth floor complete. Kitchen installation has begun on the second and third floor while the flooring and carpets will follow in the coming weeks. On the exterior of the Natura building, the metal framing and dense board is complete and stucco work has begun. Balcony railing frames have been installed and glass is to now to follow. On the main floor of the Natura building, the retail windows and doors are installed and the elevators have been delivered and are now being installed. On the outside of the retail space, brick work is complete, now grading and landscape can begin.
The Terra Building (A) roofing is complete. Window installation is complete, along with the interior caulking of the windows up to the sixth floor. Inside the building, hallway framing, suite perimeters and electrical wiring are complete up to the sixth floor. The main floor lobby windows are to be installed this May while the retail window installation is complete.
Over at LINK 2, the Vert Building (C) concrete work continues with slab-on-grade complete as well as floors two through four fully poured and the roof slab pour has begun. The exterior perimeter weepers are installed, water proofing continues to progress and backfill is in progress.
The Solara Building (B) columns and exterior foundation wall footings are complete and the perimeter foundation wall has been poured. Slab-on-grade is now complete and decking for the ground floor has begun and we will start to see the ground floor being poured.
