The LINK community is starting to come together! The south road base material and the curbs will be installed in the coming month. The concrete sidewalk around the building will be poured and the grading around the site and road from Dundas Street will be connected to the building, providing access to the ground floor parking area.
The courtyard concrete slab has been poured and is now being prepared for planter boxes and waterproofing.
The suites in the Natura building (D) are moving along. Drywall, mudding and taping are complete on the second and third floors along with priming and painting. Bathtub installation in all suites is complete and tiling has begun. Kitchen installation has begun on the second and third floors while the flooring and carpets will follow in the next weeks. Outside of the suites, balcony railings have been measured and installation will commence shortly, and stucco work on the exterior has begun.
On the main floor of the Natura building, the retail windows are installed and the doors will come next. On the outside of the retail space, brick work is complete so grading and landscape will now begin. On the south side of the building, the lobby framing and windows are installed, elevators have been delivered and installation will begin soon.
The Terra building (A) roof slab is complete and it is now being prepared for water proofing. Window installation up to the sixth floor is complete, along with the interior caulking of the windows up to the fourth floor. Inside the building, hallway framing and electrical wiring is complete up to the fifth floor and the perimeter of the suites on the second and third floor have begun. The main floor lobby and retail windows are to be installed shortly.
Over at LINK 2, the Vert building (C) concrete work is underway with the second storey floor and wall to the third floor 100% complete and work on the third and fourth floors and walls have begun.
The Solara building (B) columns and exterior foundation wall footings are complete and the perimeter foundation wall has been poured. A portion of slab-on-grade has been poured and decking for the ground floor has begun. We will see the ground floor being poured shortly and the Solara Building will begin to rise.
