Today, we are excited to share an update on construction at Valera.
This fall brought exciting changes on site. At Valera, 95% of the concrete slab on the ground (grade) has been poured – creating the barrier between the building and the ground. Our forming teams have also been busy pouring the concrete for the first layer of the parking garage and forming the ground floor slab. At V2, similar activities are taking place. Underground drainage is being installed in preparation to pour the slab on grade to be poured. After that, our team will begin forming and pouring the second layer of the parking garage.
Forming and concrete work will continue until the summer of 2021. These important activities lay the foundation for us to begin building above grade, which will begin in the early spring of 2021. At this point, we will finally be able to see both buildings quickly raising up!
