Happy New Year!
The Link site continues to grow as we move into 2017. The main gas line work is complete and Union Gas meters are installed, the gas line is now to be connected and now the building can be heated. The south road base material has been installed and we are expecting the south road curbs to be installed in next coming weeks. We are also in queue to get permanent power to the building – this is a big milestone!
At Link 1, the Natura building retail window frames are installed and installation of the glass will soon begin. Brick work in the retail area will commence in the coming weeks. Roofing has started and will be complete by the end of January and the mechanical rooftop equipment will then be installed – this includes chiller, hot water tanks and boilers. Hallway framing continues and suite framing has also started. The elevators are being delivered and installation will commence shortly.
The Terra building’s roof slab is complete and is now being prepped for waterproofing. Moving over to Link 2, the Vert Building decking continues for the ground floor slab and we are expecting the slab to be poured mid-January. The exterior waterproofing and the weeping tiles are installed, and backfilling has begun.
