The Link buildings will hit some major milestones in the month of November. The main gas line to the buildings will be installed next week, once that is complete, construction of the main entrance to the development will begin. The building’s major mechanical equipment has been delivered and installation will begin next week; this means we’ll be able to heat, cool and have running water in the building!
The Natura building windows are being installed on the 2nd floor and the retail windows will follow. Exterior metal stud framing is well underway, and the brick work will start in the next couple of weeks. Once the window installation is complete, we will start on the interior metal studs and then the roof installation will begin early November.
The Terra building has the 4th floor slab and the verticals to the 5th floor in progress, preparing for the 5th floor slab of concrete to be poured next week. We are aiming to have the structure complete by the end of November! This is another major milestone at Link.
The Link 2 buildings and Wellness Centre will be out of the ground in no time! The footings which is an important part of the foundation process are almost complete for this phase; while the underground drainage for the Vert building has been installed and the columns for the Vert have been erected. We are aiming for slab on grade level to be installed in the second week of November. Once the slab on grade is complete, forming for the ground floor start and you will start to see the buildings rise in the coming months.
